Tell us about yourself.

“My name is RaShaun, I just turned 26 and I’m from Upper Marlboro, PG County, Maryland. I do a lot, I’m actually a graphic designer and I have my own brand called SNEAKHER. I think it’s pretty cool what you guys are doing here giving recognition to women who love sneakers and that’s a part of my brand as well.”

How long have you been a sneaker lover?

“As long as I could remember. I know sneakers are pretty big in PG County in general. I wont say out the womb because obviously I didn’t know much about shoes out the womb but that’s what it feels like.”

Do you remember your introduction to the sneaker game?

“I kinda was just submerged into it automatically. My brother and sister were big on sneakers and that’s really how it started for me.”

What is your favorite pair of sneakers?

“I don’t think I have one. People ask me that all the time and I’m like I don’t know. I can’t choose I have way too many to pick from.”

What are you wearing now?

“I’m wearing me! I’m wearing a SNEAKHER windbreaker and some Satin 1s. I just kept it cool, calm and collected, that’s how I like it, that’s my style.”

What is your favorite sneaker colorway?

“The Bred colorway 100%! I feel like if you don’t say Bred then I mean whatchu got going for yourself ? But nah, yeah that’s probably my favorite out of all of them.”

If you could collaborate with any sneaker brand, who would you collaborate with and why?

“Nike/Jordan, just because that has been my lifestyle forever. I mean honestly I would take anything I could get. If I could get Adidas I would take it or Puma, whatever. But definitely Nike or Jordan for sure.”

What do you think the sneaker game is missing?

“Women, 100%. It’s a male dominated industry, clearly. Every time sneakers come out usually the men get the better colors. We just really started getting colorways in maybe 2018 or at least that’s what it seems like and that’s kind of what your brand is doing and what my brand is doing as well. Just giving more recognition to women that deserve it, we wear sneakers, too!”
