Tell us about yourself.

“My name is Angela but people call me Angie. I’m 26 years old from Brooklyn and what I do Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 is I’m a receptionist for a travel agency called Fareportal.”

How long have you been a sneaker lover?

“For a very long time. It all started when I was in my teens and was old enough to understand sneaker culture.”

Do you remember your introduction to the sneaker game?

“I want to say high school. I went to Catholic school from 1st to 8th grade so of course we wore uniform and we weren’t able to wear dress down clothes but once I got to high school that’s when you get to see everyone’s personalty through their clothes.”

What is your favorite pair of sneakers?

“My favorite pair of sneakers would be the Chicago 1s because I like the colorway and I like how you’re able to dress it up or down. I mean you can pretty much dress down any pair of sneakers but I really like how the Chicago 1s look dressed up or down.”

What are you wearing now?

“So I’m wearing this Topshop denim jumpsuit/romper, the sneakers are Visvim moccasins, the bag is Louis Vuitton and the frames are Gucci.”

What is your favorite sneaker colorway?

“Anything with black, red and white.”

If you could collaborate with any sneaker brand, who would you collaborate with and why?

“Definitely Nike and I don’t know I guess it’s because its my favorite sneaker brand so I would definitely go with Nike.”

What do you think the sneaker game is missing?

“More female sneaker collabs. Definitely, definitely, definitely more female collabs.”
